JOB: Purchasing Administrator at ScandiKitchen
Purchasing Administrator (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian language required)
At the moment we have a great opportunity for someone to join us as our new Purchasing Administrator; a role with a lot of scopes to grow and develop across both purchasing/buying as well as forecasting. This role reports to the Founder.
The responsibilities in this role include:
- Day-to-day purchasing and supply chain tasks with a focus on incoming goods and supplier relations.
- Assist with forecasting and demand planning for seasonal and all-year ranges.
- Place required orders in a timely manner to meet forecasted sales levels.
- Monitor product pricing and commercial details and escalate as needed.
- Assist with all supplier communications to make sure our range, price and production news is up to date.
- Pre-empt supplier issues and help plan contingencies to minimise disruption.
- Assist with non-stock product management.
- Assist import and export procedures and paperwork together with Logistics Administrator, including liaison with customs agents, transport companies and consultants.
The person we’re looking for:
- Some experience in a similar role (FMCG short shelf-life goods a plus).
- Educated to degree level
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with a flair for Excel.
- Logic and problem-solving skills but able to think outside the box, too.
- A team player who brings the best to the table for the greater good of the team and business.
- A multi-tasker with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive: we love people who have plans and see opportunities.
- Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is essential (conversation level, reading)
- We use NetSuite, so any experience here or with systems such as SAP is a bonus.

This job is office-based NW10 7QQ (Park Royal, North West London) due to the nature of the role working closely with the Logistics Assistant and our physical Warehouse team.
