London based DMC/Inbound Travel Company seeks Scandinavian/Nordic speaking person to join our team in a nice working environment.

Job title: Project Manager – MICE/Incentive Groups

Position: Full-Time

Location: Winchmore Hill, London N21

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Managing Director

You will be handling inquiries from overseas (mainly Scandinavian/Nordic) travel companies, predominantly incentive, meetings, conference & event groups (MICE).

This can involve arranging full programmes & itineraries with hotel accommodation, meetings, events, transport, dining, activities, entertainment etc. throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for someone who is well organised, can work independently as well as part of a small team. You are flexible and hard working with a positive outlook, enjoy problem solving and has good numeracy skills. Ability to multi-task and function well under stress are other important attributes.

You will naturally also have excellent English language skills, both speaking and writing.

Advantage if you have previous experience from the travel industry, especially Incentive/MICE operations, and a good general knowledge of UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing group projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline and scope.

You will be part of a small, dynamic and fun team in our pleasant north London office.

Start date is flexible, but looking to fill position as soon as possible.

• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Maintain regular contact/updates with overseas clients and local suppliers
• Responsible for projects/groups from start to finish.

Example requirements

• Previous experience in travel/hospitality/service industry
• Strong in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, numeracy and organizational skills
• Good general knowledge of UK
